These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of semblmothe.com (the "Website") and the training courses, masterclasses, coaching sessions and related services (together, the "Services") offered by The English Manner ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Website or booking any of our Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. About us
The English Manner is a UK-based training institute specialising in etiquette, protocol, communication and personal-development training. Our correspondence address is 207 Regent Street, London W1B 3HH, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].
2. Using the Website
You may use the Website for lawful personal and business purposes only. You agree not to use it in any way that:
- breaches any applicable law or regulation;
- is fraudulent, misleading or defamatory;
- attempts to interfere with the security, integrity or performance of the Website; or
- seeks to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's data.
3. Bookings and payment
A booking is a request to purchase a place on a course or session. A binding contract is formed only once we send you a written confirmation of your booking. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling and, unless clearly stated otherwise, exclude VAT. Payment terms are set out in the booking confirmation.
4. Delivery of the Services
We will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with the description given at the time of booking. We reserve the right to make minor changes to course content, tutors, timings or format where such changes do not materially affect the overall quality of the training.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation of a booking and any refund entitlement are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Website — including text, images, logos, videos, downloads and course materials — is owned by or licensed to The English Manner and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. You may view and, where a facility is provided, download material for your own personal or internal business use. You may not otherwise copy, republish, sell, sub-license or exploit any content without our prior written consent.
7. User submissions
Where you submit information to us (for example via an enquiry or booking form), you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. Personal data submitted through the Website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites operated by others. We have no control over those websites and accept no responsibility for their content or practices. Following any such link is at your own risk.
9. Availability of the Website
We take reasonable steps to keep the Website available and free of errors, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Website for maintenance, security or operational reasons.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law. Subject to that:
- we will not be liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or any indirect or consequential loss arising in connection with your use of the Website or the Services; and
- our total liability in connection with any Service will not exceed the amount you actually paid for that Service.
11. Events beyond our control
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including illness of a lead tutor, transport disruption, industrial action, extreme weather, government restrictions or failure of communications networks.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you make a booking is the version that applies to that booking. Continued use of the Website after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
